Women Have Three Powerful Secret Weapons In Business

Women have 3 assets that I see as secret weapons in the business world. For the past 30 years or so, women have been encouraged to behave as their male counterparts do so they can succeed and achieve equality. To me, this is backward and counterproductive because they have several valuable skills that businesses need to grow and serve their customers well. Since people are unique, these assets show up differently in each woman. Today I'll share the 3 most important of these abilities with you. My hope is that these skills will be recognized for the powerhouses of strength that they truly are.

Women have strong verbal communication skills. In fact, scientists and psychologists tell us that women speak more than 3 times as many words during a day than men do. Furthermore, our conversations tend to involve responsive listening and focus on the process of relations rather than sharing facts. Women know how to build rapport, understand a person's strengths and weaknesses, and can easily include encouragement in conversation. Businesses need effective communication and team building skills, especially in sales, marketing, and negotiations.

Second, women are intuitively skilled negotiators. They have been conditioned for centuries to get what they want through negotiation and community. No matter how you feel about it, this is an historical fact and is our present reality. Women had little economic power, and they learned how to work in a system where they weren't the boss. Rather than direct bloody fighting and wars, they learned to work with others and create good compromises or find a win/win outcome. Now that they have economic freedom, they can use the skills they've learned to help themselves reach their goals and do it with class. these skills can help an organization flourish by creating partnerships with those they do business with. Win/win situations are good for everybody, and women have a talent for finding ways to make that happen. They've done this socially for centuries, and their mothers have taught them these skills from infancy. Women just don't recognize it and thus think they can't negotiate in business matters. They can, and they can often see win/win options that their male colleagues miss.

The final secret weapon women have is their ability to work as part of a team. Again, this is partially due to their inborn character as a female and partially due to their cultural conditioning. Have you ever noticed that when you're with a group at a restaurant, one woman at the table says she's going to use the ladies room; almost immediately others will go with her? They often will go as a group and will come back to the table together. You don't see this behavior from men. Our culture seems to value the image of a self-made tycoon who takes the business world by storm. Reality is very different though. Most "self-made" business tycoons have a quality team of support staff behind them. It is actually the power of the team that brings success. Those companies who reward employees for good teamwork will profit and will survive when hard times come. Women excel at teamwork, and they should be sought out for this quality. I thought that this was a very good dvd. I am definitely becomign more felxible and you can definitely feel the burn while doing it. Responding to the person who thought it was too fast for yoga, the description on the dvd says it all "Yoga moves at an aerobic pace." I had no knowledge of yoga so the first time was difficult but I caught on very quickly. Once you memorize it, it becomes a lot easier to follow. Those of you who gave up on the first try, shouldn't have. My only complaint is Denise Austin's voice and her little sayings are annoying beyond belief. "Oooo how do you feel?" "Let me see those smiling faces" "You're like a living structure!" or as you are in an impossible position and she starts up a conversation so you are in a position longer than you should "You know what I like to do..." ah shut up. She needs to do less talking most definitely.

I was totally disappointed with the quality: Wonderwoman fell apart at the waist within a few days. The way they designed her leg joints has a lot to be desired. They are not robust, though they look cool. I would probably still buy this set, if the price was right.

These figures look pretty decent at first glance but when you take them out of the box you see how bad they really are. My superman broke in half (at the waist) when I took him out of the box! Add that to the fact that there are only an average of six points of articulation on each (only three on Wonder Woman!) and you see that these aren't very high quality figures. Amazo is transparent, which makes no sense whatsoever. He isn't an invisible character. I also don't like that, while superman's S and belt stick out from his uniform, Bizarro's are merely painted on. Only buy this item if you love doomsday and its on sale. It's not worth its list price by a long shot.

WHY DO PREACHERS GO ALONG WITH IRRESPONSIBLE WOMEN?

The Preacher is supposed to be the head of the church. Thus, he has the authority and responsibility to head off potential trouble and keep the church on the right course. The right course for the church is to keep God first. God is to be worshiped and not man.

"To Keep God First," is and should be the way of the church. But here we find major contradictions in the motivations of many Preachers. They want to be first. Thus, if Preachers want to be little gods, they also want a support base of people that support this ungodly attitude.

Irresponsible women readily support the ungodly attitude of the false prophets who view the church as their personal kingdom. For example Irresponsible women (also some very foolish men) support church officials/Preachers that have stolen millions of dollars from the church. Even after the church official has been sent to prison for his crimes many Irresponsible women claim that we should forgive him and state that no one is free from sin.

It is true that Christians should have a forgiving heart. But it is not a Christina attitude to deny sin and only acknowledge the sin of a Preacher when the courts have declared him guilty and he is on his way to prison. Preachers do not have a license to steal and commit fornication. In this society the courts do not excuse Preachers from criminal behavior. But evidently Irresponsible women and foolish men do.

The reason many Black Preachers enter the ministry evidently has some relationship to the acceptance of Irresponsible women. The ministry is not the same as other professions. For example you do not enter the ministry because you feel it is a lucrative profession. You don't enter the ministry because you feel it is a profession where you can get rich. You don't enter the ministry because you feel that women in the church will provide for you. For example many of the false prophets that accept Irresponsible have said: "Man the women in the church will take care of your every need." Finally you don't enter the ministry because you will be able to seduce a wide variety of Irresponsible women.

Well if you don't enter the ministry for money and sex. Why should one enter the ministry? Most people have heard the term "Called." For example "I was called to the ministry." To be called to the ministry by God is one of the greatest honors known to man. But God has not called many of the Preachers of today. If God calls you to the ministry, He will prepare you. Many Preachers are unprepared and have very little knowledge of the Bible. Thus, their sermons are performances of hooting, hollering, running, jumping and kicking up their legs.

For the record God has called some of the Preachers that have turned bad. Many Preachers started out Godly. But Irresponsible women went to work on them and turned them bad. For example I heard a Preacher say: "When I was in the world and outside of Preaching I was not popular with the girls. But since I am now a Preacher I have a new appeal and attraction." This Preacher was short and chubby and from his own admission not physically attractive. But in his case as in the case of many Preachers they found out that Irresponsible women in the church just love Preachers. Thus, a Preacher can look bad, talk bad and have any physical or mental characteristics and Irresponsible women will love and worship him.

As we return to the question of why do, Black Preachers enter the ministry, we thank God for his true Prophets. The true Prophets of God have seriously entered the ministry to save souls and be a blessing to mankind. A Preacher's greatest joy should be winning people to Christ. Thus, Preachers should not long for and/or find so much joy in the church giving him a new car. For example how can a Godly Preacher accept a Rolls Royce from the Irresponsible women in the church? Any congregation that wants to give their Pastor a Rolls Royce is unchristian and the Preacher that accepts the gift is also unchristian.

There is evidently some confusion of what is materialistic and Prosperity Preaching. We argue that so-called Prosperity teaching or Preaching is often a contemporary con-game of the whoremongering, money-changing Black Preacher. Christians are not materialistic, thus, Christians do not dream constantly about gaining material wealth. Christians dream about saving souls and the Good News of Jesus Christ. The Good News of Jesus Christ says nothing about how much material wealth one can gain. But since so many Preachers believe in the Irresponsible women, where did this thinking come from? Has it been passed down by old Preachers? Are the schools of theology teaching Preachers that whores are needed to run the church? Why do so many Preachers go to unaccredited schools and pay for (I didn't say earn) bogus degrees? For example how can you receive a Ph.D. in Divinity when you have no undergraduate degree or a Masters degree? Why do so many Preachers want to be called Rev. Dr.?

For the record many Preachers are just plain hustlers. Many of these charlatans could not or did not have the heart to be a real hustler so they come into the church with weak game. Many Irresponsible women will fall for anything if you claim you are a Preacher. The unsuccessful hustlers of the world know that Preaching is a good hustle. They know that Preaching is a profession whereby many people will not criticize them because some people do not feel it proper to criticize Preachers. The Freedom Journal does not share this view. We realize that God will punish all of the false prophets but we also have some responsibility. Our responsibility is to make an on-going analysis of the Black experience. Black Preachers are a part of the Black experience.

I have a girlfriend, but I wanted to try if this can help me to solve the "I am not in the mood" problem that my girlfriend gives me sometimes. The Art of Impressing Women: Proven Techniques on How to Attract and Impress Women

It's easy for us men to think that women won't go for us unless we have a special talent. But as Erika Jong said, "Everyone has talent. What is rare is the courage to follow the talent to the dark place where it leads."

It's true: we all have talents. Think for a moment about a talent you may have. It could be anything:

You know how to play billiards really well

You can speak a foreign language (even if not fluently)

You know how to fix cars

You know some magic tricks

You can do really good impersonations

You know how to play an instrument

You're really good at your job

You can cook a great plate of lasagna (or any dish, for that matter)

Don't discount anything. In my audio series, "The Art of Impressing Women," I detail some great ways to impress women, and one of the most important ways to doing this is to not only have, but DISPLAY, a talent-no matter how marginal it may seem.

One of my favorite "guy" movies is "The Tao of Steve," which shows how Dex, a fat guy with no aspirations, easily gets hot, gorgeous women. How? Simply by following the 3 rules of the Tao. They are:

Eliminate your desires.

Do something excellent in her presence, thereby proving your sexual worthiness.

Retreat, for as Heidegger said, "We pursue that which retreats from us."

Or, to put it more simply:

Be desireless

Be excellent

Be gone

Dex's talent was that he knew how to cook a really mean lobster dish; thus, he fulfilled the second rule. He knew one thing, and he did it well. In the process, he followed the first and third rules of the Tao by not being overly eager to impress the girl and get her phone number, and just after he impressed the girl with his talent, he would be gone. After cooking for her, he would say, "Well, I gotta get ready for bed." She would beg him not to go, thus de-powering herself and em-powering Dex. And he would say, "Well, I guess I could stay a little longer." And you can guess where it went from there...

So, like Dex, you should aim to be excellent at something, all while "holding the cards" to a woman's heart. Does that mean you have to know how to cook gourmet meals or buld your own motorcycles from scratch (a la American Choppers)? Hell no! It simply means you have to find within yourself that one talent, that one skill, that separates yourself from the rest of the male pack-and use it to your every advantage.

I'll give you an example of how to do this. His name's Jared, and he's not the most talented person in the world. Like Dex, he's not exactly a man on a mission; he plays lots of video games and watches lots of TV. Yet somehow he's never lacking for female companionship. Why? Because when he goes out and meets girls, he does something that amazes them: he's taught himself (proving that great talent does not have to come naturally) some really impressive card tricks. That's it. Jared's not an athlete, he's not a gourmet cook, he's not a guitar player. He just taught himself how to do some cool magic tricks, and does them so well that girls are naturally attracted to him. It works!

But does Jared go out of his way to show off his skill? NO. Actually, what Jared does is act really easy, really casual, ask the girl lots of questions about herself (first rule of the Tao: be desireless), then wait til there's a pause in the conversation to ask, "Hey, you wanna see something cool?" The girl will say yes, and he'll tease her: "Oh, too bad. You'll have to wait til later." This is what I call "curiosity building," and it's a proven girl getter. Stimulate her curiosity, hold her at bay, and she'll not only become more curious in your talent, but more interested in you.

So Jared will string the girl along for a while, then say, "Fine! Fine! I'll show you the stupid trick," with a grin. This changes the game so that the girl has become the chaser, Jared the chased, and he is able to "placate" her with his trick.

What Jared does, in essence, is follow the first rule of the Tao to the T: he acts truly desireless. He turns the tables on girls so that THEY seem like the ones filled with desire, not him. In making them more desirous than him, he becomes more empowered and, of course, more attractive. It's truly brilliant stuff.

On top of that, once Jared has impressed the girl, he makes sure to follow the third rule: RETREAT. He strings along the girl for so long that she can't help but be attracted to him. And just when she's realized that she's met a really great, talented guy, he says, "I have to go," or, "Hey, my buddies are waiting for me." By doing this, he ensures that the girl needs him, more than he needs her. In the process, she'll give him her phone number and ask him for a date, in a desperate attempt to see him again. He expertly becomes the pursued, not the pursuer-now that's a magic trick!

This is all part of the art of impressing women, an art that takes time to master but once you've done it once, the next few times are easy. Naturally, it does require that you actually show the girl your talent in action, of course; saying you're a great cook and then not being able to describe what you do accurately, or not be able to cook for her at all, will only make you look foolish and lose the girl quicker than you say, "Gone."

But now, as a single guy or a guy looking for a new relationship, you have the chance to work on the skills you have, however small they may be, and do something truly magical to impress women. Look at your time of single status not as a loss, but as an opportunity, to become a truly one-of-a-kind guy.

And once you've figured out what your talent or talents is, make the most of them. Learn how to lead girls along with your talent;like Jared, create opportunities out of them. If you know how to cook, ask the girl what her favorite plate is. Say she answers, "Penne a la vodka." You should respond, "Really? Wow, that's cool, because I make a great dish of Penne a la vodka." She'll naturally want to see how you make it, so you can answer, "Yeah, it's too bad I have to be leaving, you won't get to try it just yet." Don't ask her to come over to your house to try your cooking-instead, be desireless and retreat. Make HER ask to come to your house or apartment to try out your cooking. That way you're making HER the desired one, and YOU the empowered one. And when you "hold the cards," you can get anything you want. ANYTHING.

It's all about learning your talents-and knowing how to use your talents. No less an authority than Benjamin Franklin said, "Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What's a sundial in the shade?"

I bought this polar heart rate monitor for my wife and she loves it! I have bought other polar monitors in the past and they have all been great. This model is geared towards women and I would recommend it for any woman with fitness goals they are trying to achieve. It has been easy for my wife to use and the soft transmitter band is a big plus. She loves the pink color and the fact that the actual watch is smaller then the mens styles. Anyone who is thinking about getting a polar watch will be happy with the new F11 pink.
